Matec modular system

Matec’s machine tool conception is based on standard machines as well as custom-made maschines. Planning is always based on our customer’s specific machining tasks. Choosing a basic machine from our programme marks the beginning of each planning.
A great variety of options, e.g. CNC rotary and swivel tables, 5-axis milling heads, infinitely variable CNC milling heads, linear drives, handling systems, tools, and devices turn basic machines into complete solutions. The “clever-engineered” matec modular component system allows to cover nearly all customer requests in metal cutting.

GANTRY

  • The design of the gantry machines is focused on achieving a small footprint, high stability and the maximum possible performance.
  • One of the most important elements for stability and precision is the special design of the gantry beam with its disproportionately large cross-section.
  • The unique stiffness of the machine ensures maximum contour fidelity and surface quality on the workpiece.
  • 3-D molds, large-scale and high-volume parts can be machined with appropriate process optimization so as to save both time and money.
  • The applications of these extraordinary gantries are primarily within tool and die making, making the machines
    particularly suitable for all types of materials such as plastics, nonferrous metals or steel
  • In order to ensure maximum precision for the requirement in question and with absolute positioning accuracy, two performance classes are offered for the three gantry series. SK 40/ HSK 63 for the matec-30 P, and SK 50/ HSK 100 for the matec-40 P and the matec-50 P.
